Resin Wash Stone

A seamless stone finish, laid over your existing concrete

Resin wash stone bonds natural aggregate into a continuous surface — no joints, no weeds, no lifting pavers. Suitable for driveways, patios, pool surrounds, steps, walkways and interior floors, indoors and out.

What it is

Natural aggregate, bound in clear resin

Washed stone is mixed with a clear binder and trowelled over a prepared base — usually your existing concrete slab. It cures into one continuous surface that shows the stone, not the joints.

Because it is laid over what is already there, most projects need no demolition and no hauling of old pavers. That keeps the programme short and the site clean.

Available in three aggregate grades and 36 colours, so the finish can be matched to the building rather than chosen from a shortlist of two.

Why clients choose it

Fewer joints, fewer problems

  1. Seamless surface

No joints between pavers, so nothing for weeds to grow through and nothing to lift or settle unevenly over time.

  2. Laid over concrete

Applied on top of an existing slab in most cases. No breaking, no disposal, no rebuilding the base from scratch.

  3. Textured underfoot

The exposed aggregate gives grip, which matters around pools, on ramps and on external steps.

  4. Indoors and out

The same system works on driveways and patios, and on interior floors, bathrooms and kitchens.

  5. Simple to keep

Sweeping and washing down is normally enough. No re-sanding joints and no resetting individual units.

  6. 36 colours

Three aggregate grades across thirty-six colours, including borders and inlays in a contrasting stone.

Specification

Three aggregate grades

Grade is chosen for the setting — finer aggregate for interiors and detailed inlays, coarser for driveways and heavier traffic.

Grade Aggregate Applied thickness Coverage per 25 kg
A — Fine 1–2 mm 4–5 mm 3.5–4 m²
B — Medium 2–3 mm 5–6 mm 2.5–3 m²
C — Coarse 3–5 mm 6 mm 3 m²

Coverage is indicative and depends on substrate condition and finished thickness. We confirm quantities after measuring on site.

Colours

Thirty-six aggregate colours

Twelve colours in each of the three grades, from near-white through greys and warm sands to deep charcoal and black, plus reds and greens for borders and inlays.

Screens do not reproduce stone accurately, so we would rather show you the real thing. Ask for the physical sample board and choose from the aggregate itself.
